Cody William Smith is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer and camera operator working across documentary-led branded content, character-driven commercial work, music video, and narrative. His recent work includes a multi-location Microsoft Copilot campaign, photographed independently over three weeks, and two years as B-camera operator on Apple Music documentary shorts.

With more than 14 years of experience, Cody builds natural, emotionally grounded images in real environments and moves comfortably between lightweight travel productions and fully crewed sets. He is available for travel, second unit, operating, and specialty-camera assignments, with a particular interest in branded documentary, lifestyle, fashion, and narrative projects.
